Dr. Salazar earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. A major in Biology wasn’t enough for her, so she also earned two minors in Neuroscience and Psychology; both of which give her a unique perspective on the daily practice of dentistry. After graduation from UTD, Dr. Salazar then earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Texas A&M College of Dentistry. She was the recipient of multiple awards for her outstanding academic performance, her leadership skills, and her commitment to service and advocacy. Beyond achieving her DDS degree, Dr. Salazar went on to advance her skills with a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. During this year, she expanded her knowledge and technical abilities in the areas of oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry and restorative dentistry. And she is still not done with her education, Dr. Salazar has a true commitment to lifelong learning, and she is currently working on her master’s degree in Education for Healthcare Professionals at Texas A&M College of Medicine. Not surprisingly, she has already distinguished herself with membership in both the Honor Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement and the Golden Key International Honor Society.

Dr. Salazar is dedicated to providing each patient with excellent, customized dental care. She is extremely detail-oriented and understands the need for unique treatment for each individual she sees.

Dr. Salazar is also committed to reaching out to those with little or no access to dental care. She proves this by volunteering her time and skills with organizations like North Texas Dental Society’s Give Kids a Smile, Hope Smiles, Operation Lone Star, and other local non-profits.

In her free time, Dr. Salazar loves being with her family, especially her nephews and niece. On beautiful days, you can find her at a local park with her Goldendoodle Roli. Dr. Salazar is fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese.
